Our Legacy Anchors

There are relationships that become deeply woven into our lives that it is impossible to tell our story without acknowledging the people who have quietly walked alongside us. For our founder, David, Dr. Francine Gray holds that special place—an enduring presence whose influence, belief, and guidance have shaped not only his personal journey, but inevitably, the values upon which Synchronicity Africa stands today.

And yet alongside Dr. Gray, throughout so much of that journey, has been her dear lifetime friend of many decades, Aunty Nancy Gilmore. From years of shared friendship to journeys that brought them across continents and to Africa, Nancy has been a constant presence by her side—bringing warmth, joyful spirit, and unmistakable ability to make those around her feel embraced. Together, they occupy a place that is uniquely their own; reaching further back and running  much deeper.

They form a very special part of the beautiful story behind Synchronicity Africa—the relationships, love, and enduring bonds that helped shape the person who would one day become its founder.

We call them our Legacy Anchors, Our Cornerstone; two remarkable women, bound by a friendship spanning decades, whose presence and influence have become part of a legacy that continues to find new meaning through the lives our movement Synchronicity Africa hopes to touch.
